Rules and regulations.

The purpose of the trip to Perth, Australia is to learn about their culture as well as the education system. Thus, in order to make it interesting, rewarding and stress free, we must possess a good learning attitude, obedience and a sense of adherence to the rules and regulations which are as follows:

 1.      We are aware that while travelling in a group, we need to co-operate in order to be punctual for all activities, reporting to the group at least 10 minutes before the specified time.
2.      We are aware of our roles as ambassadors for Temasek and for Singapore so we will be courteous, disciplined, helpful and considerate at all times. We will also adopt the mentality of “others above self” as we want to ensure we leave a good lasting impression to our hosts.
3.      We are aware that our teachers will show love, care for us and everything they say is for our own good. We will therefore co-operate with them and listen to their instructions.
4.      We are aware that if we are unwell, we will inform our teachers immediately. We will not prescribe our own medicine.
5.      We will take proper care of ourselves in the first place. We will drink lots of water and try to get at least 8 hours of sleep so as to stay healthy and truly make use of this learning opportunity.
6.      We will attend all meetings, briefings and debriefing sessions because important instructions will be shared and we will ensure that we do not miss all the important information.
7.      We are aware that in a foreign country, things are different and may be unfamiliar. Therefore, we will not move out of the group and move anywhere alone. We will keep our teachers informed about our whereabouts at all times.
8.      We will also be responsible for our own personal belongings, including our money and passport, never leaving them unattended. We will also take care of each other’s property as well.
9.      We are aware that while staying in hotels, we will not switch rooms after being allocated to one. We are also aware that any discussions should be done in a common area and not in rooms, especially in the rooms of the opposite gender. This is to respect each other’s privacy.
10. We will abide by the law of the country we visit and be responsible for our actions.
11. We will live up to our school motto, “We care”.
